Six months ago, we set out to boost customer adoption of the My Sky app. In this session, we’ll revisit the key benefits of the app and explore how these conversations have been going.
You’ll also have the chance to share what’s worked well, swap hints and tips, and build confidence in promoting the app during your customer conversations.
Let’s kick things off by taking a fresh look at the benefits of the My Sky app — for both our customers and for us.
Did you know that around...
50%
of customers don’t download
the My Sky app after a retail sale?
This is your chance to explore how we can change that by confidently promoting the app and highlighting the value it brings.
In your groups, discuss and list:
What are the key benefits of the My Sky app for the customer?
What are the benefits to us when customers use the app?
Benefits for the customer
Benefits for us
Six months ago, just 20% of retail sales led to customers downloading the My Sky app. Today, we’re at 29% downloading at point of sale and 21% downloading it later — leaving 50% who don’t download it at all.
That gives us a big opportunity to increase this — especially with existing customers during package reviews.
Now it’s over to you…
What have you been doing to encourage downloads?
Share your hints, tips, and what’s been working well in your customer conversations?
In today’s session, we revisited the benefits of the My Sky app and explored how we can boost customer adoption through confident, benefit-led conversations.
Key takeaways:
The My Sky app adds real value for customers — from managing their account to enjoying exclusive perks
Confidently promoting the app at point of sale helps customers get more from us and reduces follow-up queries
Sharing your own hints and tips can inspire the team and build a consistent approach across your store
